Marius Lie is a director and a writer and has been working with telling stories all his life. The secret behind telling a good story is to know your audience and Marius has been very successful in doing so with his projects during his time working with a various of TV shows.
Starting to learn his trades he worked with the most successful comedians in Norway on a show who later has gained cult status with “Uti vår Hage” for NRK.
From here Marius expanded his field and found his own voice working on several reality shows were his talent took him on a 6 year relationship with Strix Television working on shows such as “EXPEDITION ROBINSON”, “THE FARM”, TOP MODEL” and “PROJECT RUNWAY”.
From here Marius took a different approach and went on to produce 26 episodes of a documentary series called “LOST WITHOUT TRACE” for ToTheMoon AS. It was during those years he was offered a job to work with TV2 Norway working as a producer.
Here he worked on developing projects and producing both liveshows and docuseries.
One of his first tasks was to re-develop a live fundraiser event who went on to being aired twice a year called “TV2 ARTISTGALLA” (Fundraiser for several humanitarian company’s such as SOS Children’s home, Medicine Sans Frontiers, NRC and Red Cross) Marius both wrote the script for the entire show, produced several field films from around the globe and was in charge of the phone panel at the event.
He also produced 4 seasons of the “Gullruten nominated” (Norwegian emmyawards) series “ADVENTUROUS NORWEGIANS”
The last years Marius has been deployed in working on how to bridge TV with corporate company’s and from here Marius has been in charge of the two first full paid TV series funded completely from corporate money. With DNB Norway he produced a 4 hour special called “BØKKETLISTA” aired on TV2 and on DNB`s homepage reaching out to close to a million uniqe viewers and lately he has done the same with KLP (Norwegian pension fund) producing a new series for TV2 called “THE GRAND JOURNEY”
The idea is to develop concepts directly for corporate company`s making content storytelling a brand new way of telling stories.
As an old athlete himself (Marius reached the level of a semipro footballer), Marius has found a new field to expand his talent working closely with the host of Norway’s most successful TV series “CHAMPIONS OF CHAMPIONS” where former athletes compete in being the ultimate champion. The series is aired on NRK and has been a safe bet on the latest “Gullruten awards” winning in the category of “Best Realityshow”
Marius is very proud of representing Fjords and is looking forward to further develop projects for a large and ever demanding audience.
