Fjords is a television and media production company based in Norway. Integrity, quality and high production values are the Fjords acumens as the team aspires to give great stories the dimension it deserves.
The company was founded by industry professionals Andreas Archer Dreyer & Elisabeth Nord in 2014. Both has extensive experiences and track records from the Norwegian and international television, arts and entertainment industry.

Starting his career in 1996 Andreas is a highly experienced multi-camera director with a solid track record of high-end television production both as a freelancer and as an employee at the Norwegian Broadcasting Company. He has extensive experience from development and process across a variety of genres, concerts and variety shows as well as documentaries, children’s television shows, news and debates. Directing formats as the international Emmy winning «Energy survival» several seasons he has a solid track record of collaborating with European co-producers.

Directing formats such as Idol, Deal or no deal and Singing soap stars he has great knowledge of the process of adopting formats as well as directing live TV shows such as «World Environment Day» NRK, «World HIV and AIDS charity show» and «Norwegian defence concert Day». Andreas has directed for all the major Nordic broadcasters, SVT,  DR1 and MTV in Finland as well as KRO(NL).

Andreas is also Assistant Professor in television directing at the Faculty of Television at Lillehammer University College.

Elisabeth Nord is a producer, director and the founding partner and Executive Producer of the Norwegian TV-Production Company Fjords. Elisabeth was the director and Executive Producer of the international documentary series “The Legion” which was commissioned by ITV4 (UK title: The foreign legion; Tougher than the rest (2007)) The series was produced in association with TVNorge (SBS Discovery) and ITV Global and aired on National Geographic Channel (worldwide) Discovery Channel, Network 7 (Australia), CCTV (China) to mention a few. Her debut film “Take The Challenge – Live The Dream” (NRK1) featured an exclusive interview with Sir Paul McCartney and was nominated for a Rose D’Or.

Through the years Elisabeth has directed documentary films and television programs for major production companies such as Nordisk Film, Rubicon TV and Strix Television in Norway. These range from fashion awards and comedy shows to entertainment and reality TV shows, including “Expedition Robinson” (“Survivor”) and “Top Model”. Her documentary work includes biographical DVDs for Agatha Christie Ltd and Georges Simenon Ltd as well as the observational documentary film “Red Sun” (“Rød Sol”) about the life of schizophrenic painter for NRK. She has produced prime time tv-shows from live-events and concerts for NRK, most recently the opening show from Hamar kulturhus (March 2014) and the concert documentary Lyden av Prøysen (December 2014).

In 2008 the Norwegian publisher Schibsted Forlagene published the book “My Brother” in which Elisabeth documents her time spent with the Legion and contains personal accounts from members of the troops. “Min Bror” was released in Autumn 2008.
Elisabeth has been a juror of the Rose D’Or as well as in the 2007, 2011 and 2012 International Emmy Awards in the documentary category.
Elisabeth now works out of Norway after adventurous years in the UK and France.
